Tova Gerge and Britta Kiessling have been invited by Weld Company for one week  collaborative work. Tova and Britta bring their project Passivity Rules/Memories of Being Hanged.

Passivity Rules are systems where passivity facilitates something, opens up something. It is also an interjection, a way to put passivity first: Passivity rules!

Memories of Being Hanged stands for experiences of losing control over one’s passivity, being close to dying or disappearing, concretely or metaphorically.

Passivity Rules/Memories of Being Hanged is about what is going on in a body that seems to sink, let go, lose its grip – or that actually does.

This project is a new project: a bunch of practices and attempts fresh out from the darkness of things that don’t exist yet. We invite you to look, think and talk with us about it.
