ROCKS. Moving with Lygia Clark is a collaboration between Brazilian choreo
graphers\, dancers and researchers Korina Kordova and Flavia Pinheiro. The
project started from the desire to meet and exchange practices\, weaving
dance\, listening\, writing\, theory and imagination in dialogue with the
work of Brazilian artist Lygia Clark (1920-1988) —a pioneer of participa
tory performances\, experiential art and therapeutic art practices.\n\nDra
wing conceptual resonance from Clark's works\, and investigating transmuta
tions between air\, water and stone\, Korina and Flavia create choreograph
ic situations where matter\, memory\, and relational identity become conne
ctive tissue between bodies. Tuning into materialities\, speculating aroun
 d geological processes\, myth-making\, and welcoming ghosts\, they attempt
to channel and move with textures\, gestures and temporalities that excee
 d human-centered perception.\n\n\n\nChoreography and dance: Flavia Pinheir
o\, Korina Kordova\nArtistic advisor and producer: Tom Oliver Jacobson\nWi

 ellt dansresidens Östersund\n\nPhoto: Nityama Macrini\, Thomas Lenden\n\n
 \n\nKorina Kordova (BR/SE)\nis a Stockholm-based Brazilian artist working
within the confluences of choreography\, dance and performance. Her practi
ce adopts decolonial perspectives and resonates with feminist new material
isms and ecological thinking\, and it meets the public as dance performanc
es\, choreographic installations\, scores in both written and aural forms\
, publications and workshops. She holds a Master’s in Performance Practi
ces from ArtEZ University of the Arts (NL) and completed the Postmaster
“Materialities\; energies” at The Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
 \n\nFlavia Pinheiro (BR/NL)\nis an Amsterdam-based choreographer\, educato
r\, and researcher from Brazil. Her work explores networks of resilience a
nd resistance to dominant systems of knowledge through fabulative speculat
ions in interspecies choreography. Navigating across multiple media\; vide
 o\, performance\, urban interventions\, installation\, and writing\, she h
ighlights how diversity and transversality can contribute to (un)learning
colonial pedagogies. She holds a Master’s degree from DAS Choreography (
2022) and was part of the DAS Third research program (2022–2024) . She w
as awarded with the 3Package Deal fund for International Talents by AFK an
d the Mondrian Fund.\n\n\n\nWeld is supported by the City of Stockholm\, t
he Swedish Arts Council and Region Stockholm.
