Trança is an invitation to a sensory journey where sound, light and movement intertwine and branch on unusual surfaces in vertiginous times.
Through a choreography of hands, Thiago Granato accelerates transformation processes where different forces are translated into signs, promoting an investigation on the body’s power of creating contexts where it can detect new ways of living, communicating, moving and reinventing itself.

Trança is the second solo in a trilogy which is a choreographic research based on different imaginary collaborations between dead and living choreographers, as well as those not yet born. This trilogy is part of the project entitled CHOREOVERSATIONS that combines research, creation, production and education.

The CHOREOVERSATIONS project mainly aims to create a network of relationships between the participating artists and their public, empowering discussions about history, heritage, authorship, property, translation, transmission, incorporation and presence in contemporary dance.
